From April 2, 2024, Glenbrook Machinery will be known as MetroHire.
So, what’s changed after 50 years? Just the brand name. We’re still owned by the same family, and you’ll still be working with the same people. Importantly, our unique mix of fast response times, top quality equipment and unbeatable service remains in place.
This new name reflects our company’s shift in direction and focus over the past 5 years. As a preferred partner to some of the country’s largest contractors and most iconic infrastructure projects our original name no longer truly reflects what we do and where we sit in the market.
MetroHire will be focused purely on equipment hire to enable greater focus and growth. Here’s a look at our new brand.
Avant Loaders will now be distributed by our new sister company Avant Equipment NZ to better service its growing Nationwide customer base while allowing MetroHire to focus solely on Equipment Hire. As with MetroHire, Avant Equipment NZ is still 100% owned by Glenbrook Machinery and the Pinker family.
By splitting Avant into its own standalone company, this has allowed us to create two separate silos and two separate brands to better serve our customers as we continue to grow. Avant Equipment NZ will operate alongside MetroHire out of our Head Office in Pukekohe.
